Meeting Highlights
During the later half of the Loveland City Council meeting of 8/22/23, City Planner Kerri Burchett presented the first reading of amendments to the city’s land use code. Members questioned increased density incentives per fire/combustion. They requested that she consult with local experts on the issue before second reading, scheduled for August 29.
Overall, the amendment package received positive support from many members of the Affordable Housing Task Force of the League of Women Voters, which claims to have recommended many of the changes.
The video offers more detail of the amendments to the land use code, as well as more issues discussed by council.
